Sport for all. Quality without barriers.
If you’ve ever stood in front of a sports facility and thought, “This should be easier,” then you understand the starting point of QIS – All In.
The project was born from a simple idea shared by all partners:
Everyone deserves a place on the field.
Not theoretically. Not “when funding allows.” But now — in real sports spaces, every day, for everyone.
QIS – All In (Quality Indicators for Sport Accessibility and Inclusion) is an Erasmus+ Sport project developed by eight organisations from five countries. Together, we are building European standards and tools that help sports facilities become accessible, inclusive and welcoming — not just in words, but in practice.
Behind the formal title sits something deeply human: people who are tired of hearing that an athlete “can’t” join training because the entrance has stairs; that a parent with a stroller must wait outside; that an older person feels lost because the signage is unclear; that a person with sensory needs avoids sport altogether because the environment feels overwhelming.
What We’re Building — and Why It Matters
QIS – All In focuses on three core pillars:
- Universal design principles
Designing spaces that work for everyone — people with disabilities, elderly individuals, parents with small children, visually or hearing-impaired users, injured athletes, neurodivergent individuals, and anyone with temporary or long-term needs.
Because accessibility is not about “special” adjustments — it’s about thoughtful design.
- A practical evaluation and certification model
A Bronze–Silver–Gold pathway that celebrates progress, not perfection.
Facilities receive clear guidance on what they are doing well and where improvements matter most.
- Education, tools and an online platform
Training for staff, digital self-assessment forms, multilingual materials, and user-friendly resources — all 100% free and open access.
Our work brings together accessibility experts, architects, Paralympic committees, sport professionals, researchers, and community organisations. Many bring personal stories — athletes they’ve coached, facilities they’ve audited, or simply moments when they witnessed inclusion happen because someone cared enough to make a change.
QIS – All In is here to help organisations move from awareness to action — transforming sports environments into places where everyone feels welcome, independent, and respected.
Because sport is not just about performance.
It’s about belonging.
And belonging starts with access.
